In this episode of Habits of a Mother, I’m opening up about something I think every mom wrestles with—where we place our identity. Whether it's in our waistline, how we come off in a conversation, or how "successful" our work or home life feels, it's so easy to lose sight of who we really are.

But here's the truth:

“We are not the sum of our weaknesses and failures. We are the sum of the Father’s love for us and our real capacity to become the image of His Son.”
 — St. John Paul II

This quote hit me like a deep breath of truth. Our worth isn’t rooted in performance or perfection. It’s not about eloquence, appearance, or productivity. It’s about being His.

I’ll share personal stories from my own week—everything from bloating before girls’ night, to overthinking my words, to business discouragement—and how God gently redirected my gaze back to Him each time.

We’ll also talk about a book that’s been speaking to my heart lately, Sincerely, Stoneheart by Emily Wilson-Hussem. If you’re navigating sensitive feelings about your worth and identity right now, this book is such a gift. You can find it here: Sincerely, Stoneheart

Come reflect with me, friend. You are beloved—full stop.
